Enhanced Page: $20

Includes graphics, custom scripts, and some minimal dynamic elements, simple forms. No database scripting.

Advanced Page: $30/hr

Includes all from previous levels, plus complex forms, database scripting, dynamic elements, and more. If a single page has multiple functions it will count as multiple pages.

All sites are required to have at least 7 pages. My time is worth something, and this insures adequate compensation for my effort.
Redesign

Redesign can be tricky, so for existing dynamic pages where only a layout change is required (no coding of the database/script), the rate is similar to that of a basic page.For existing pages that only require layout changes (no new content) there is a 25% discount to the regular price, except in the following cases:

  • If the page requires rewriting database access or any dynamic scripting, it will be charged as an advanced page (refer to pricing chart).
  • Changes to forms will be billed as an enhanced page, with no discount.
  • If you require all new graphics (eg, new site, not a simple layout change), then you will be billed as a new site.

If it seems like I don't like to give the discount, it's partly because I don't. I feel that my rates are much lower per page than you will find most places, and I am trying to make some money. Also, a redesign frequently ends up being much more difficult than a customer expects.
